Description/History:Black and white photo, side view of the old livery stable and Springfield Gas and Electric Co. manufactured gas storage tank. There is a base which the tank was fitted into. Along the side of the metal base are stair steps that lead up to a walkway around the base. The sign on one of the storage tanks reads, " Cook with Gas " The cement block building reads " Seaman Coal, Cement and Sand, Phone 579 " On the storage bins are several advertisements that read, " Faultless Starch, Yeast Foam, K C. Baking Powders, and Celuloid Startch" Near these storage bins is a corrigated iron building. The Missouri Pacific Railroad tracks can be seen along the Seaman Coal Company.
